DevFest is an annual community-led tech conference organized by Google Developer Groups (GDGs) worldwide. It brings together developers, engineers, and tech enthusiasts to learn about the latest technologies, share knowledge, and collaborate on exciting projects. DevFest events include a variety of talks on Google’s technologies and other emerging fields, making it a valuable platform for both professionals and students in the tech community.

With over 90% of engineers and students attending, DevFest 2024 is the largest Google tech conference in Thiruvananthapuram. The true magic of DevFest comes from the diverse developers involved, all of whom bring unique backgrounds and skill sets.

This year is significant as we celebrate DevFest's 15th anniversary, with the theme set as "Responsible AI”, focusing on AI's global potential and the importance of responsible development. It underscores Google's commitment to safe and ethical AI for the greater good.

In recent years, some individuals who registered and RSVP'd for the event did not show up after receiving their tickets, causing others to miss the opportunity. To ensure that deserving participants don’t lose out, we kindly ask that you only register if you are certain you can attend the event on December 07, Saturday. If you are shortlisted but don’t attend, you will be ineligible to participate in future events hosted by GDG Thiruvananthapuram.
