About the Event


ROBO SOCCER - RULES AND REGULATIONS

  1. The match will be lot-wise.

  2. The match will be split into two halves of 3 minutes each. A break of 1 minute will be provided between each half.

  3. 1 minute cool-off time will be provided.

  4. 10 points will be provided for each goal.

  5. A foul will be given for the following scenarios and for 3 fouls 5 points will be deducted:

    • For keeping the bot immobile for more than 5 seconds.

    • Pushing the opposite bot without a ball in between.

  6. If both remain immobile for more than 10 seconds, the game will be restarted.

  7. If a team does not report within 10 minutes of the scheduled game time, they will forfeit the game and the winning team awarded a 10-0 scoreline. The 10 minutes includes any break times.

  8. If a robot is damaged by a foul, the referee will stop the game and stop the clock for up to 2 minutes while repairs are made.

  9. Teams are responsible for bringing all necessary tools required for the maintenance of their bot during the event.

  10. Teams may elect to end a game early; however, they will forfeit the game and the winning team awarded a point scoreline.

  11. For wired bots, ensure that the wires are securely managed and cannot be pulled back during operation.

  12. Once registered, no refunds will be issued.

  13. Teams that are not present after the final call will be disqualified.

BOT SPECIFICATIONS

 1.  Dimension of the bot should not exceed 30cm x 30cm x 30cm. (including the front projection).

 2.  Maximum weight of the bot should not exceed 8kgs.

 3.  Each of the bots must have its own power supply not exceeding 12V.

 4.  No objects designed to damage the opponent’s bot or the track are allowed. 


TASK:

Two students with two robots compete together, using a soccer bot. Students will drive robots with remote controls and attempt to score points on the course. Each will face off against other teams in matches to advance through a tournament bracket to the final match.

 PRIZE DISTRIBUTION:

First Prize: Rs. 7,000/-

Second Prize: Rs. 5,000/-

Technical Events are Open to UG and PG students of affiliated institutes.

Diploma and ITI students can also participate in all technical events.

Students under colleges affiliated to recognised universities / autonomous / deemed   are only permitted.
